DAY 6 - June 25, 2007

Today we had a pretty broken up day. I started off by giving a brief editing overview (i.e. the different parts of the tape, why sync is important, etc)...and then showed the students how to ingest their footage into Final Cut Express HD. We got about an hours worth of footage onto the machine and then went to do our two interviews of the day. We first met with Chris Morrow of the Northshire Bookstore and did an interview with him. We also shot some extra footage of the outside of the bookstore, so that we have enough to go around in the piece. And then we went to talk to Jay Hathaway, head of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce. We did an interview with Jay and then went back to the station to critique the work shot for the day.
